GeneSight® is a pharmacogenomic (genetic) test that helps guide psychiatric medication selection.

It evaluates how your genes affect:

  • Response to antidepressants, ADHD medications, and mood stabilizers

  • Risk of side effects

GeneSight supports precision psychiatry, helping reduce trial-and-error medication prescribing.

🧬 Do you test for MTHFR and methylation issues?

Genetic testing such as GeneSight may provide insight into MTHFR gene variants and methylation pathways.

These pathways may influence:

  • Neurotransmitter function

  • Folate and vitamin B12 metabolism

  • Mood regulation and energy

  • Medication response in some patients

In some cases, this may help guide discussion around methylated vs. standard B12 supplementation as part of individualized care.
